"Necessity is the mother of Invention"

   Welcome to my home page. I was born in Paphos, Cyprus in 1980. In 2004 I completed my undergraduate degree in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The same year I started my M.Sc degree in Computer Science Department at the University of Cyprus. In 2006 I completed my M.Sc degree and became a Ph.D student under the supervision of Prof. Yiannakis Sazeides. I have complete my Ph.D in 2012 with the title "Cache Content Duplication".

   Currently, I am a Senior Software Engineer at MAP FinTech. My research interests are:
  • The impact of performance, cost, power and reliability on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for datacenters
  • Memory hierarchy optimizations
  • 3D stacking and reliability issues
